Maintenance Supervisor
Our client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and team leadership.
1st Shift: 7am - 3pm
Location: Caseville, MI (Thumb region of MI)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and assign daily work for maintenance technicians and skilled trades employees.
- Ensure equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage spare parts inventory and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Coach, train, and develop the maintenance team members.
- Support production operations through effective communication, prioritization, and problem-solving.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Hydraulic systems experience required.
- Press maintenance experience required.
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
- Must be willing to work overtime and be available for occasional after-hours support.
