Step into a meaningful role supporting students' educational journeys as an onsite paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is located near Livermore Falls, ME, and offers the chance to work closely with students, teachers, and specialized staff in a collaborative learning environment. You’ll play a vital part in providing day-to-day classroom assistance and individualized support under the guidance of educators and social workers.

The opportunity is full-time (35 to 40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, from August 28, 2026, to June 10, 2027. While full-time availability is strongly preferred, highly qualified part-time candidates are encouraged to inquire.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Must hold valid authorization as an Ed Tech/Paraprofessional in Maine
• Previous experience supporting students in a school setting is valued
• Strong communication skills and a nurturing, patient approach
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Adaptable and proactive, with a keen interest in helping students achieve their best

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers and specialized staff in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct support to students in both group and one-on-one settings
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Supervise students during non-instructional periods as needed
• Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
