PATIENT CARE TECH

Responsibilities Full‑time position, 36 hours per week, night shift schedule with opportunities for overtime and shift coverage as needed. Perform various customer‑care activities and related services in the patient care area, including monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips, receptionist and secretarial duties, and patient care tasks. Must be willing to cross‑train and float to meet facility needs. Job Requirements High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology. Completion of a formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants; possesses state CNA certification. Current American Heart Association BLS certification. Good communication skills to interact with patients and staff. Must be able to perform EKGs. Computer skills, including order entry and ADT functions. Requires a CNA license in the state of Florida. Current employees in the Patient Care Tech role may be transferred to this updated position with current education and experience. Benefits Challenging and rewarding work environment.
