Description

HVAC Technician at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is FullTime and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

To operate, maintain, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair the following systems/equipment: electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems, boiler, pumps, chillers, fire sprinklers, fire alarm, HVAC systems, refrigeration, generators, and medical support equipment. Work closely with Stationary Engineers and other staff to ensure that equipment and systems are functioning properly.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National EPA Section 608 Certification - State County City Trade License Authority

• 1 year experience in at least four of the following systems/equipment: electrical, plumbing, medical gas systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, fire sprinklers, fire alarm, HVAC system, refrigeration, generators, and medical support equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Trade school in any of the related fields.

• 3 years hospital experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
