Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity accommodates both part-time (about 20 hours/week) and full-time (35 hours/week) professionals eager to enrich student communication, social skills, and academic growth for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 10, 2026.

The role includes placements at Teague Middle, the Educational Support Center (serving a K-12 caseload), or a shared assignment between Teague Middle and Indian Trails. Your contribution will span a diverse student population, allowing you to apply your clinical skills within supportive educational settings.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Florida State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or equivalent
  • School-based experience and comfort working with K-12 caseloads is highly desirable
  • Ability to adapt to split assignments across campuses (as applicable)
  • Timely completion of all credentialing requirements

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in K-12
  • Design and implement IEP-driven interventions and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
  • Maintain detailed session documentation and progress reports
  • Consult on assistive technology and classroom modifications as needed
  • Participate in eligibility and team meetings
