About the Role Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support this mission, we are seeking a Data Engineer to serve as a foundational architect of our data ecosystems. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain the scalable data pipelines that turn raw information into actionable intelligence for our federal partners. By ensuring data reliability and performance, you directly enable high-level decision‑making that impacts national security and government efficiency. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines Build and optimize data architectures in cloud environments Develop and manage relational database systems for performance and reliability Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver clean, usable datasets Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and pipeline performance Implement best practices for data security and compliance Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) Proficiency in SQL and database design Experience with at least one cloud platform (Oracle, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) Hands‑on experience building data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, or similar Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala Preferred Qualifications Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Kafka) Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Understanding of data modeling techniques Equal Opportunity Employer Redhorse Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
