Location: Cincinnati, OH 45202

Work Arrangement: Hybrid Travel: Approximately 25-50% (based on project location and construction schedules)

• Our client is seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to lead the successful execution of commercial and industrial solar energy projects from pre-construction through final commissioning and closeout.

What You'll Do:

• As the Solar Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of project execution while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.

• Project Management

• Manage projects from pre-construction and design coordination through installation, commissioning, and project closeout.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

• Monitor project costs and financial performance to ensure profitability and budget compliance.

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.

• Provide regular project updates to leadership and clients.

• Coordination & Leadership

• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, utility companies, clients, and internal teams.

• Oversee procurement activities and monitor material deliveries to support construction schedules.

• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.

• Support commissioning activities and ensure successful project turnover.

• Construction Oversight

• Conduct routine site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety.

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, applicable building codes, and company quality standards.

Manage project documentation including:

• RFIs

• Submittals

• Change Orders

• Project Schedules

• Closeout Documentation

Qualifications:

• We're looking for professionals who possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)

• 3-7+ years of project management experience in:

• Commercial Solar

• Renewable Energy

• Construction

• Energy Services

• Experience managing commercial, industrial, or public-sector solar PV projects preferred

Strong understanding of:

• Construction management

• Scheduling

• Budgeting

• Contract administration

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software

• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

• OSHA Certification and/or PMP Certification are a plus
