Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Description

Join our general dentistry practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist, where you will provide essential clinical care to a low daily patient volume, focusing entirely on dental hygiene without administrative responsibilities. Under general dentist supervision, you will deliver thorough patient assessments, cleanings, and education while utilizing your expertise with Dentrix and Dexis systems. Our practice offers a supportive environment with holiday pay, vacation pay, and a bonus program.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and oral health evaluations
Provide oral hygiene instruction and patient education
Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis
Process dental X-rays using dental radiography equipment
Maintain infection control standards and sterilize equipment
Complete dental charting accurately

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene

Preferred Qualifications

Three or more years of experience in dental hygiene
Proficiency in oral health assessment and dental radiography
Knowledge of infection control procedures
Strong patient communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to collaborate effectively within a dental team
Strong time management abilities
