Whether you need a change in volume or a tighter deadline, we will always do our utmost to get the job done to the highest possible standard.Learn more about Precision Hydraulic Cylinders: The main purpose of the Industrial Engineer is to analyze existing manufacturing processes to help implement improvements and recommend best practices. Perform time studies, process balancing and develop process flow. Develop contingency plans for high-risk manufacturing assets and tools.Responsibilities:Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvementConfer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project statusProficiency with SMED events, workflow time studies, and process balancingDraft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiencyCommunicate with management and develop standard operating procedures (SOP)Develop process flow for each product Regulate and alter workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to expedite production operationsLearn and develop NoMuda Visual Factory software expertise and implement it throughout the plant.Provide training to operators for using Visual Factory software on the shop floorGenerate high-level reports for Visual Factory and create and/or update technical documentation.Perform capacity analysis and contingency planningEvaluate operators’ tasks and steps based on process flows, and identify procedures or tools to improve productivityPerform Continuous Improvement activities and other duties to support the needs of the business.Requirements:BS in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or similar role(s)Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills and communicationProficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of programsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work independently and closely follow directionsAbility to learn and use Visual Factory software and Visual Infor (ERP System)What to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
