CNC Machinist (Large-Parts)
Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This is a contract to permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalent as well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss.
Principle Duties
- Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers.
- Performs machine adjustments and troubleshoots controllers / machines / processes.
- Works from blueprint requirements.
- Selects tools, sets feeds and speeds.
- Perform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Operates overhead cranes for large-part manufacturing.
- Maintains a clean work environment and shop floor (tools, equipment, machines, etc.).
- Re-orders tools as needed.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience with CNC milling, CNC lathe / turning, CNC Swiss.
- High School diploma OR GED OR vocational school training.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Perform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools.
