Administrative AssistantWe are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, and handling a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Job DescriptionThe Patient Service Assistant is the first point of contact between the patient and clinical staff. Patients check in, insurance verification, collection of co-pays and balances, various other front office duties. The front office position plays a vital role of ensuring & exceeding the expectations of the patient with the Southern Bridge Inc. experience.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and provide instructions to all visitors in a polite and professional manner.Analyze health insurance benefits, verify insurance eligibility, and relay relevant information regarding payment policies and billing/collection processes.Perform clerical tasks and adhere to established policies and procedures.Determine and collect each patient's financial responsibility.Assist the practice manager and other staff as required.Provide overall support for Physicians and office operations.Obtain and document patient history.Understand and enforce standard healthcare regulatory requirements.Collect and maintain all patient and business documents while maintaining confidentiality.Perform office procedures including all general administrative duties.Document Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventionsAssure HIPAA and OSHA, Ethical Board of Licensed professional counselors and Marriage and Family Therapist compliance.Manage calendars and schedules for the team, including coordinating meetings and appointments.Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.Greet and assist visitors and clients.Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.File and maintain electronic and hard copy documents.Assist with event planning and coordination.Perform light office duties, such as ordering supplies and maintaining equipment.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Prefer at least one year experience in a medical office or mental healthcare setting.Ability to work between the hours of 9AM-6PM.Experience with insurance eligibility and co-pay determination.
