Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Telemetry Nurse Opportunity

Provide specialized nursing care for telemetry patients, including post-procedural monitoring and management. Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to clinical protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs continuously to detect changes or abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies or code situations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in telemetry or cardiovascular nursing.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and principles.
• Ability to interpret EKG rhythms accurately.
• Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
