Entry Level Network EngineerLocation: Gary, IN / Portage, IN (Onsite)Duration: 6+ monthsJob Description: We are looking for an Entry Level Network Engineer to support Cisco wired and wireless network infrastructure in a heavy industrial environment. The candidate will assist with troubleshooting, break/fix tickets, basic network configurations, cabling, and onsite IT/network support activities.Responsibilities:Support Cisco routers, switches, and wireless devicesTroubleshoot network connectivity issuesAssist with break/fix and daily support ticketsPerform basic network configurations and documentationSupport onsite infrastructure activitiesRequired Skills:Basic Cisco networking knowledgeUnderstanding of routing & switchingNetwork troubleshooting skillsWireless networking basicsCCNA or Network+ preferredAdditional Requirements:Fully onsite roleComfortable working in steel plant environmentMust have own vehicle for local travel between Gary & Portage locationsOpen to occasional on-call/weekend supportExperience: 0–2 YearsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant certifications/training.
