Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, including non-titratable drips such as amiodarone and Cardizem
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs, assess conditions, and respond to changes promptly
  
  
• 
  Document all patient care accurately within the EMR system
  
  
• 
  Maintain a safe environment by adhering to unit policies, protocols, and infection control standards
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans
  
  
• 
  Provide emotional support and education to patients and families as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of recent registered nursing experience, preferably in IMC, PCU, or step-down units
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  
  
• 
  Exhibit resilience, accountability, and integrity in high-pressure situations
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts, including weekends and on-call shifts
  
  
• 
  Able to maintain professional appearance in royal blue scrubs
