Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound client enquiries via telephone and email, providing a professional and helpful service.
• Address client questions regarding our environmental consulting services, including assessments, compliance, and management solutions.
• Accurately record client information and service requests into our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Efficiently direct calls and enquiries to the relevant technical specialists or departments within the company.
• Schedule appointments and consultations between clients and our environmental consultants.
• Handle and resolve client issues with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex problems where necessary.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's services to provide accurate information to clients.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service in all interactions to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a call centre, customer service, or a similar client-facing role.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Strong active listening skills and the ability to address client needs effectively.
• Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with CRM systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• The ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• An interest in environmental science or sustainability would be considered an advantage but is not essential.
