Details Hospital Labor & Delivery unit setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM 13-week contract Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required prior to start of clinical care Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Additional Information Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, and documentation under physician direction Collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team to identify expected patient outcomes and address complex care needs Communicates with patients and families to develop and update individualized care plans using cultural competency and active listening Promotes infection control standards and maintains a safe, clean hospital environment Some units may require ACLS certification prior to performing clinical care; training and certification opportunities may be provided American Traveler Job ID P-732063.
