Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist one day per week. This vital role centers on working directly with students in a specialized Behavioral Program, providing services onsite in Yamhill County. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering growth, communication, and success for students of all abilities.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY supervision available
• Previous experience delivering school-based speech therapy services preferred
• Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and social-pragmatic disorders
• Comfortable working with students with a variety of behavioral, emotional, and academic needs
• Effective collaborator, with experience contributing to IEP development and interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-languge therapy sessions for K-12 students, one day per week
• Assess and document student needs, progress, and goal attainment in accordance with IEPs
• Develop individualized treatment plans that support student communication and behavioral goals
• Consult and partner with teachers, behavior specialists, and paraprofessionals to maximize student success
• Communicate regularly with families and team members to ensure holistic student support
• Maintain thorough, timely case notes and progress reports
