Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM | 3x12s or 4x9s available | Projected Start: 07/27/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from a wide range of surgical procedures including craniotomies, spine surgeries, thoracotomies, general GI/GU, vascular, and bariatric surgeries
• Monitor and manage patients using Phillips monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Manage arterial lines (A-lines), chest tubes, and central lines in the post-operative setting
• Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio within a 14-bed PACU unit staffed exclusively by RNs
• Participate in block scheduling including one weekend call shift per month
• Float to other units minimally as required per unit floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year of ICU experience required
• Previous PACU experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Proficiency with A-line management, chest tube management, and central line management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-operative management of craniotomy and thoracotomy patients
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records documentation system
• Experience with Phillips patient monitoring equipment
