This role involves: Lead and manage the design and evaluation of fire protection systems Lead the design, specification, and multi-discipline coordination of the following fire protection systems: Fire alarm, smoke management, wet-pipe, dry-pipe, pre-action, deluge, and foam/water fire suppression system Develop fire protection engineering concepts, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local and national codes and standards Quality review the fire alarm and fire protection calculations Working as a team on projects and managing employees Requirements: Licensed Professional Engineer Minimum 7+ year of progressive experience in the Fire Life Safety/Fire Protection field Fire Protection Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program Strong working knowledge of applicable ICC and NFPA codes is required Knowledgeable in building codes, fire codes, NFPA standards, and military standards Ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge in AutoCAD or Revit Company paid Medical, Short & Long-term disability insurance Employee paid Dental & Vision coverage Life Insurance 401K w/ company match Eligible for quarterly bonus after six months employment List of Supporting Documents: Resume Sample of technical work or writing 3 Work References Awards: 2018, 2019, & 2020 Kansas City Business Journal Best Places to Work. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hoss & Brown Engineers, Inc
