Commercial Insurance Sales Agent

He or she is poised to take a personal approach to commercial insurance sales by gathering all details necessary to inform sound policy decisions. Responsibilities Stay abreast of all insurance coverage provisions, the overall insurance industry, regulations, and pertinent legislation to ensure customers understand their coverage terms and insurance services in the process Visit with, follow up, call, and coach existing and prospective clients on commercial insurance policies as part of the company’s commitment to high-level personal attention and customer service Gather all of the necessary information to evaluate the commercial insurance needs against available insurance products for each client, and negotiate the terms and conditions with key stakeholders Serve as clients’ trusted advisors, in part, by developing risk management reports effective in reducing the need to file insurance claims Implement a range of sales and networking strategies such as prospecting and cold calling potential customers to maintain grow customer base and provide outstanding service to your existing book of business; positioning the company as one with a competitive advantage at every opportunity Qualifications Ability to advise clients on relevant policies due to a thorough understanding of commercial enterprise structures and procedures Strong negotiation, research, analytical, and communication skill are necessary for success Experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for commercial lines Computer proficiency is required, including Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel A thorough understanding of all insurance company policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their costs and benefits Compensation: $60,000+ per year #J-18808-Ljbffr Allied Insurance Managers Inc.
