Grading & Earthwork Laborer
- Perform manual labor related to excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
- Assist equipment operators with grading, backfilling, and earthmoving activities.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Install and maintain erosion control measures, drainage systems, and utility trenches.
- Use hand and power tools, including shovels, rakes, compactors, and tampers.
- Grade and level surfaces using hand tools and assist with finish grading.
- Clean and prepare job sites before, during, and after construction activities.
- Set up traffic control devices and maintain a safe work zone.
- Follow project plans, supervisor instructions, and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Report equipment issues, hazards, or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
