Essential Qualifications
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
  • Licensure: An active Physical Therapy license in Michigan is required to commence the assignment.
  • Certification: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC is mandatory.
  • Experience: Preferred experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment.
  • Specialized Skills: Familiarity with geriatric rehabilitation, restorative programs, and common documentation systems in skilled nursing facilities is advantageous.
  • Therapeutic Skills: Ability to deliver therapeutic interventions for post-operative care, neurological conditions, and chronic management.
  • Team Collaboration: Must work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and maintain precise patient records.
