Sourcing & Procurement Manager

Primary Location: Libertyville, IL
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Sourcing & Procurement Manager for our premier client in Libertyville, IL.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations, or Engineering. APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or CPSM certifications are a strong plus.
7+ years of progressive procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years directly managing Chinese supplier networks and international logistics.
Analytical Capabilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools (e.G., advanced Excel modeling, business intelligence tools) to forecast and manage inventory ratios.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Plant Managers, Quality Control, and Engineering teams to validate alternative materials and ensure a seamless pipeline of material availability.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Manage and develop relationships with international suppliers, monitoring key metrics such as quality, lead-time reliability, and financial stability.
