Essential function of the job: ​ Basic knowledgeable of culinary operations, a team player, hard worker, and detail oriented Knowledgeable in classic and modern cooking methods and techniques Set up and break down a culinary station efficiently Prep all ingredients and station to Chef's standards Ensure station is clean and sanitized Must be able to maintain consistent and correct plate presentation Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with all departmental policies, service procedures & standards Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for the team, and to be ready for service Assists with quality and presentation, maintaining cleanliness standards and organization of the kitchen and the restaurant when necessary Maintain a "clean as you go" work ethic A positive, service-oriented attitude and desire to contribute to a team Ability to multi-task, prioritize and anticipate guest needs Qualifications and Skills: Ideal candidates will have a combination of a culinary degree and work experience or the equivalent work experience in a full service fine dining restaurant, if no culinary degree has been obtained.
