A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in Boise, ID. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, ideal for professionals seeking a consistent workweek. The assignment is set to begin ASAP and will last 13 weeks or longer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Order verification to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain operational efficiency
- Collaborating and consulting with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care
- Managing pharmacokinetics and medication therapy adjustments as needed
- Utilizing Cerner electronic health record systems to support clinical operations
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An active Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain one promptly
- Hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in rehab or acute care settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency with Cerner or similar electronic medical record software
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, day shifts
