Now Hiring: Closing Manager – Child Care Center

Are you a dependable leader who enjoys working with children and supporting a positive team environment? We are seeking a dedicated Closing Manager to join our team and help ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff at the end of each day.

Position: Closing Manager

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Afternoon/Evening Hours 12:30pm- 6pm (start time will be between 12:30pm-3:00pm)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support teachers and staff during afternoon and closing hours
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care
• Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and center policies
• Communicate effectively with parents during pick-up times
• Assist with classroom coverage as needed
• Complete daily closing procedures, including securing classrooms and facility areas
• Handle minor issues and make sound decisions in the absence of the Director
• Ensure the center is clean, organized, and prepared for the next day

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a licensed child care center or early childhood education setting
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Must meet all state licensing requirements for child care staff
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
