Registered Nurse Supervisor

MLR is collaborating with a prominent healthcare system to hire an RN Supervisor to lead and support their nursing team. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. A $7,500 relocation assistance package is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history, making observations, and analyzing diagnostic data.
• Nursing Interventions: Implement nursing interventions in alignment with the Plan of Care and physician orders, while adhering to professional standards.
• Patient Rounds: Perform and validate hourly rounds to improve patient care and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with unit policies, standards, and protocols, while coordinating patient care activities during shifts.
• Staff Supervision: Oversee nursing staff responsibilities including managing schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional development.
• Charge Nurse Duties: Assist with departmental efficiency by performing charge nurse duties, including Advanced Resuscitative Certification for the patient population.

Registered Nurse Supervisor Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Licensure: Active South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional supervisory training is preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of nursing experience.
