Location: Vancouver, Canada or Seattle, WA (Onsite/Hybrid)

Mandate : Python , automation, Java and Selenium, Data background , Kafka , AWS

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and backend services
• Build and execute test automation scripts using Python, Java, and Selenium
• Perform data validation and testing across large-scale data systems
• Work with Kafka streams to validate real-time data processing workflows
• Collaborate with development, product, and data engineering teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Develop and execute API and integration tests
• Identify, track, and resolve defects across the testing lifecycle
• Ensure CI/CD integration for automated test execution
• Work within AWS cloud environments for testing and validation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as an SDET / Automation Test Engineer
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks
• Experience with data testing / data validation
• Familiarity with Kafka (event-driven architecture)
• Experience working with AWS (cloud services)
• Strong knowledge of API testing (REST/JSON)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
