Speech Language Pathologist (On-site, School-based) – Contract Location: Central Phoenix Upper Campus, Phoenix, AZ Assignment Dates: 07/20/26 – 05/28/27 Duration: 45 weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:10 PM Compensation: $32/hr (travel) or $62/hr (local) with overtime pay Program Information Caseloads differ from public schools; they involve push‑in services with higher amounts, up to approximately 70 students in high‑demand situations. Develops treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials to meet individualized student objectives and comply with regulatory requirements. Provides speech and language services to students with IEPs; the number varies with workload and SLPA support. Possibly supervises SLPAs in classroom implementation of speech and language services, depending on caseload. Writes and attends MET and IEP meetings as the SLP service coordinator. Evaluates students in speech and language as determined by the MET team. Implies communication goals identified on student IEPs. Consults with teachers, parents, and other personnel to provide requested information, develop service plans, and make recommendations or referrals. Follows school‑wide systems, rules, and positive behavior interventions. Delivers services in a classroom integration model. Coaches classroom staff and SLPAs on implementing speech/communication goals. Supports staff and students with Augmentative Communication Devices. Supports classroom curriculum related to language acquisition. Communicates effectively and proactively with students and families. Ensures paperwork compliance. Accountable for growth and proficiency in IEP goals. Participates in annual and ongoing staff training. Maintains regular and predictable attendance, an essential requirement.
