Maintenance Representative

As a Maintenance Representative, you'll maintain cleanliness and safety for an entire Store, inside and out, all while making our customers feel welcome. Key responsibilities include sanitation, maintenance, and customer service. Sanitation involves maintaining store cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization. This includes cleaning and picking up trash and debris from flower beds and yards around the Store, using H-E-B chemical program, washing windows and mirrors throughout the Store, emptying and cleaning trash receptacles throughout the shift, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Maintenance duties include communicating maintenance needs, performing minor repairs using simple hand tools, and maintaining ceiling air vents. Customer service involves working with and around customers, attending to their needs, assisting customers in locating products, and performing Customer Service Assistant duties when needed.

Qualifications and key requirements include being 18 years or older, possessing knowledge of OSHA guidelines, customer service skills, and sack skills. The ability to take initiative and prioritize competing tasks is also required. Physical demands include constantly walking, reaching at waist, grasping, and frequently pushing/pulling with arms. Occasionally, the role requires standing, reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder, reaching at knee, reaching at floor, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, pivoting, twisting, pinching, and performing fine motor movements. The role may also expose individuals to cold, ambient temperatures, loud noise, and wet conditions. The ability to lift 50 lbs and manage in excess of 50 lbs is required.
