Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Compute bill on P.O.S. System or adding machine, make change, and issue receipt. May be required to know value of menu items. May give cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed by Supervisor/Manager. Greets and seats patrons. Coordinates and controls the flow of the Restaurant. Assigns stations to servers and bus persons. Supervises the restaurant during the absence of the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager. Interacts between Service Staff and Patrons when difficult situations arise. Ensures that Service Quality and Standards are followed. Answer any guest related questions in the Ameristar Standard. Answer the telephone in a professional manner. Requirements Basic math skills. Strong communication skills. Problem resolution. Friendly. Outgoing. Polite. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
