Director of Operations

G&E Partners is running a confidential search for a Director of Operations to lead power delivery field execution; transmission, distribution, substations, and battery storage, for an EPC-grade power delivery contractor. Our client brings decades of history in T&D, substation, and BESS work, running programs for utility and developer clients who come back project after project. This is a repeat relationship, not a one-off vacancy. The business has put real capital behind its own equipment fleet and its own field leadership bench, employing directly, with a ‘true builder’ culture. With an industry leading EMR and SVP responsible for enforcing a Safety over Schedule mentality, this business has developed a reputation based on it’s results and employee-centric culture. Ownership of field execution on T&D, substation, or BESS scopes - from mobilization through energisation and closeout. Full accountability for schedule, cost, crew and subcontractor performance, and safety on a multi-billion-dollar program. Direct interface with utility/developer client representatives and engineering - this is a client-facing Operations Director role. Manage and develop superintendents and field supervision underneath you. Minimum 15 years' construction management experience, with a strong EPC background in power delivery - T&D, substations, or BESS. Based in Texas, currently operating at Sr Construction Manager or Director of Operations level with hands-on field ownership. Track record managing crews, subcontractors, and client relationships on multi-million-dollar utility-scale programs. $175k–$250k base plus bonus structure & long term-incentives. #J-18808-Ljbffr G&E Partners
