Registered Polysomnographic Technologist $10,000 Bonus

Job Description Accountable for performing and coordinating and scoring physiologic studies of sleep and sleep-related disorders. The incumbent provides care to patients via technology, therapeutic interventions, and coordination of care with other health care professionals. Responsibilities Perform overnight Polysomnographic studies, using various modes of Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy interventions. Perform Home Sleep Apnea Tests (HSAT). Monitors and documents on patients undergoing physiologic studies. Monitors and tracks equipment and supplies. Completes record keeping and charting. Ability to address and solve both technical and interpersonal problems. Demonstrated communication skills. Ability to use computerized and mechanical equipment efficiently. Ability to Score Studies according to AASM guidelines. Obtain 10 Continuing Education Credits (CEC) related to sleep medicine annually. This position provides supervision, mentorship, and orientation/ongoing education of the PSG Tech and PST CPSGT. Minimum Qualifications High School Degree or GED BLS Certification or RQI for Healthcare Providers Current RPSGT/RST or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) licensed in the state of practice, if required Available to work varying shifts, including night shift. Specific certifications or skills as required by facility or patient population (i.e. PALS, ACLS, NRP). Posting Specifics Hours: Full time 36 hours Benefits Eligible: Yes Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus.
