MRI TechnologistLocation: NYC, NY Duration: 02 months Contract Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8a-8p Hourly rate: $71/hour on W2 (Negotiable)Must-Have QualificationsStrong knowledge of MRI physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and physiologyExcellent MRI technical skills2 years of MRI experience requiredRequired EducationGraduate of an JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology.Required Certifications & LicensureNew York State License (L.R.T).American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified).Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI scans according to established protocols.Position patients and coils for optimal image quality.Complete MRI safety screening before scanning.Evaluate image quality and transmit studies to PACS.Document and complete exams in IDX (Radiology Information System).Educate patients on MRI procedures and safety.Maintain MRI equipment, room cleanliness, and supplies.Follow MRI safety and infection control protocols.Assist physicians as needed.
