Hours Shift Start Time: 7 PM; Shift End Time: 7:30 AM. AWS Hours Requirement: 12/36 – 12 Hour Shift. Weekend Requirements: Every Other. On‑Call Required: No. Pay Hourly Pay Range: $61.74 – $70.17 – $90.16 (reflecting the range defined by the collective bargaining agreement between Sharp HealthCare and its nurse partners). Placement within the range is based on years of RN experience. What You Will Do Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families. Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking to deliver individualized, goal‑directed care that incorporates mind, body, and spirit. Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and manage multiple patient needs. Document care and care outcomes in accordance with departmental guidelines. Pre‑teach, mentor, and precept other nursing staff. Lead delegations, assess physician orders, and oversee quality improvement initiatives. Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families, and facilitate teaching and discharge planning. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience. California Registered Nurse (RN) – CA Board of Registered Nursing (required). AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (AHA BLS Healthcare) required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Independently perform the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Demonstrate competency in all unit skills and some advanced skills. Manage emergency situations and prioritize workload effectively. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
