Full-Time | $85,000–$95,000/year

Are you a Physical Therapist who loves sports, strength & conditioning, and helping active patients get back to performing at their highest level?

Apex Performance Therapy is growing, and we're looking for another PT to join our team.

We're seeking a motivated Physical Therapist with a passion for sports medicine, orthopedics, and performance-based rehabilitation . You'll work with an active patient population ranging from recreational athletes and active adults to competitive and collegiate athletes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who wants to develop their sports rehabilitation skills, work with advanced performance technology, and gain hands-on experience working with collegiate athletics.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic, sports-related, and post-operative conditions.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation programs incorporating strength training, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular training, plyometrics, and sport-specific progression.
• Develop return-to-running and return-to-sport programs for recreational and competitive athletes.
• Utilize objective testing, including dynamometry and VALD force-plate technology, to help guide rehabilitation and return-to-sport decisions.
• Collaborate with physicians, coaches, athletic staff, patients, and families to provide high-quality coordinated care.
• Participate in athletic event coverage for our partner collegiate athletic programs, including occasional evening and weekend events.

What We're Looking For

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
• Current Maryland PT license or eligibility for Maryland licensure
• Strong interest in sports and orthopedic physical therapy
• Strong exercise prescription, clinical reasoning, and patient communication skills
• Understanding of post-operative rehabilitation and return-to-sport principles
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends for athletic event coverage

New graduates with a strong sports/orthopedic background are encouraged to apply.

Preferred, But Not Required

Experience with athletes, return-to-sport testing, strength & conditioning, force plates, dynamometry, or sideline coverage is a plus.

SCS, OCS, CSCS, dry needling, manual therapy certifications, or an interest in pursuing advanced certification are also welcomed.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $85,000–$95,000/year , based on experience.
