Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: - 3 years of Operating Room experience License: - Active California RN License Certifications: - BLS Must-Have: - References required - Charge RN references not accepted Description: - Must have 3 years of experience in the Operating Room. - Active California RN License is required at the time of submission. - BLS certification is mandatory. - First-time travelers are accepted. - Weekends are required, with 2 weekends in-house. - On-call requirement includes 2 weekends within a 6-week period. - Scheduling requests cannot be accommodated. - The patient care focus includes a variety of surgical specialties. - Responsibilities include maintaining infection control standards, administering medications, and assisting in surgical procedures. - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to high-quality patient care. - Commitment to professional development and adherence to safety standards is essential. - Flexibility in scheduling is critical. - References from supervisors or higher positions from within the last year are mandatory for submission. - Candidates with charge RN experience will not be considered. - The position may involve handling various patient demographics, including adult and pediatric patients. - Familiarity with surgical equipment and procedures is essential to perform competently in this role.
