We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week W2 contract assignment supporting our high-acuity group home programs. CONTRACT HIGHLIGHTS 13-Week W2 Contract Assignment Competitive Hourly Rate $2,000 Completion Bonus (upon eligibility) Consistent Full-Time Schedule High-Acuity Ventilator & Tracheostomy Care Environment Opportunity to work with long-term residents and continuity of care Supportive clinical leadership and interdisciplinary team environment POSITION OVERVIEW The Contract Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to medically complex residents within a home and group home setting. This role includes performing comprehensive assessments, medication administration, ventilator and tracheostomy care, emergency response, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care delivery. This assignment requires strong clinical judgment, reliability, accountability, and comfort working independently in a specialized care environment. Reports to: Director of Nursing (DON) / Clinical Leadership Team KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Care & Assessments Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor resident conditions throughout assigned shifts Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans Identify changes in resident condition and respond appropriately to clinical concerns or emergencies Support residents requiring ventilator management, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and G‑tube support Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining safety and quality standards Medication Administration & Treatments Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following physician orders and nursing protocols Monitor for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions Maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs) and clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, respiratory staff, and interdisciplinary team members regarding resident care needs Collaboration & Communication Work closely with Charge Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, CNAs, and interdisciplinary care teams Communicate changes in resident condition promptly and professionally Participate in care coordination and shift handoff communication Support a collaborative and team-oriented care environment Documentation & Compliance Complete documentation thoroughly, accurately, and timely within the EMR system Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control standards, and organizational policies Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives Follow all organizational protocols and clinical procedures consistently Emergency Response & Resident Safety Respond confidently to medical emergencies and changes in resident condition Ensure emergency equipment and respiratory devices are functioning and available Promote a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff QUALIFICATIONS Education & Licensure Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida required Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred Experience LTAC, ICU, PCU, critical care, or medically complex nursing experience strongly preferred Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care strongly preferred Home health, subacute, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience a plus Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience preferred Skills & Competencies Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Strong organizational and documentation skills Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care Certifications Current BLS certification required ACLS preferred Schedule Expectations 13-week contract assignment Full-time schedule 12‑hour shifts available (days and nights) Strong attendance and reliability are essential for contract eligibility and successful completion COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Compensation High hourly rate $2,000 completion bonus upon eligibility and successful fulfillment of contract terms Benefits W2 employment status Supportive clinical leadership environment Opportunity for future placement opportunities and extensions based on organizational needs and performance Bring Your Critical Care Skills to Agape’s Way If you are a skilled RN seeking a rewarding 13‑week contract opportunity where you can utilize your high‑acuity nursing experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of medically complex residents, we encourage you to apply today. #J-18808-Ljbffr
