We're looking for a creative, organized, and self-motivated Content & Social Media Coordinator to help bring our dealerships, employees, vehicles, and community involvement to life through engaging digital content. You'll Have The Opportunity To Create content for multiple automotive brands Build and expand your professional marketing portfolio Attend dealership events, sponsorships, and community initiatives Develop your photography, videography, and content creation skills Work alongside company leadership on exciting marketing initiatives Schedule & Work Location This position is based primarily at our Bethesda location but requires travel to our dealership locations in Bethesda, Silver Spring, Ellicott City, and Clarksville. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between stores. Jim Coleman Automotive participates in approximately 10–15 dealership and community events annually, with 4–5 occurring on evenings and/or weekends. Candidates should be available to assist with these events as needed. Primary Responsibilities Content Creation Capture high-quality photo and video content at dealership locations and community events Film vehicle walkarounds, employee spotlights, customer deliveries, dealership activities, and behind-the-scenes content Create engaging Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and promotional videos Edit videos using CapCut or similar editing software Create graphics using Canva or similar design software Organize and maintain digital photo and video libraries Social Media Support Upload completed content to the content calendar for management approval Schedule approved content for publication Assist in maintaining an organized content calendar Stay current on social media trends and recommend fresh content ideas Ensure all content aligns with Jim Coleman Automotive's brand standards Community Events Attend dealership events, sponsorships, career fairs, charity events, and community partnerships Capture photos and videos during events Assist with event setup and breakdown when needed Help promote Jim Coleman Automotive's involvement within the community Qualifications We're looking for someone who is: Creative, organized, and passionate about content creation Comfortable capturing high-quality photo and video content using a smartphone or camera Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Self-motivated and dependable Professional with strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team Preferred Experience 1–3 years of marketing, social media, or content creation experience Proficiency with CapCut, Canva, or similar content creation and graphic design software Photography and/or videography experience Social media content creation Meta Business Suite (preferred but not required) What Success Looks Like A successful Content & Social Media Coordinator: Creates engaging, high-quality content consistently Produces creative videos and graphics that strengthen the Jim Coleman Automotive brand Helps maintain an organized content calendar Captures memorable moments at dealership and community events Brings creativity, initiative, flexibility, and professionalism to every project Contributes fresh ideas that enhance our social media presence and community engagement Schedule Monday–Friday (In-person) 9:00am – 5:00pm Occasional evenings and weekends for events Benefits Mileage reimbursement for travel between dealership locations Opportunities for professional growth and development Health insurance (medical, dental and vision) 401(k) Paid vacation SSL (sick leave) Paid holidays Applicants have rights under Federal Employment Laws Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA): Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO): Employee Polygraph Protection Act (EPPA): Salary: $45000 - $60000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr Jim Coleman Toyota
