Tax Auditor

State of West Virginia

State of West Virginia's Tax Division is seeking an entry-level Tax Auditor to examine returns for completeness, accuracy, and compliance under close supervision. The role develops knowledge of state and federal tax laws and uses GenTax to support audit selections. The incumbent will communicate with field personnel, taxpayers, and representatives, provide assistance with forms, and generate audit reports while maintaining confidentiality.
