Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Experience Required: 2 years of ER experience, any trauma level; no first time travelers Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Skills Required: IV starts, inserting foleys and NG tubes, neuro assessment (NIHSS), triage, codes, initiating/titrating pressors/cardiac drips/sedation/insulin, critical patients, hyper/hypothermia care, assisting with bedside procedurals, moderate sedation for bedside procedures (versed/fentanyl/ketamine). Soft Skills: Must be team players, adaptable. RN must be comfortable leading by example and being ER Subject Matter Experts.
