Senior Business Analyst - SAP SD

Title: Senior Business Analyst SAP SD Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite - 3 days minimum) Duration: 1 year Mode of interview: Zoom No of rounds of interview: 2 to 3 Pay Rate: $88/Hour Primary Function of Position: The Senior Business Analyst will possess both the technical and functional understanding of the business processes and will be a key person implementing business processes software solutions and systems implementation. The role will be that of a systems solution expert for identifying, analyzing, refining, translating, and finally documenting business requirements from business teams. Prior experience with onboarding new entities on existing SAP landscape would be preferred. Roles and Responsibilities: Analyze business processes, perform fit-gap analysis as required, and provide business teams with cost‑efficient proposals on inefficiencies and risks to determine appropriate process and system design. Create functional specifications and work with cross‑functional teams and development teams to deliver the technical objects. Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents and functional specifications. Conduct unit and integration testing and regression testing. Support production processes and all associated business systems functions. Work with IT and business teams to optimize and streamline business processes and technical solutions. Identify gaps between current and future state of business processes and help prioritize opportunities to improve processes through the usage of the Business Capability Matrix (BCM). Lead and facilitate business user meetings to gather process information for sound system solutions. Collaborate and provide inputs to the development team during the development phase to meet the business needs. Help business teams with reporting requirements in conjunction with the data warehouse team. Conduct QA validations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) tests. Support, assist and train users on new or modified system configurations highlighting the impact on business processes. Maintain IT business system integrity and application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates. Work closely with onsite teams, offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure the release of high‑quality solutions. Follow the Intuitive change management process. Analyze impact of changes to the corporate application landscape. Act as Senior BA and guide & mentor team members in providing best solutions and conduct peer review and advice on areas of improvement. Skill/Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 6 years of experience working on the Order Management and Logistics Business Processes with Business Analyst experience in a full‑cycle implementation as well as in support projects. In‑depth knowledge of business processes starting with order intake, EDI set up, plant determination, pricing calculations, 3rd party drop‑ship process, order fulfilment, billing, inter‑company with integration points with revenue and account‑determination. Prior experience with government E‑Invoicing and EDI 810 invoicing is a plus. Hands‑on experience with configuration of SAP Modules: Sales and Distribution, Logistics, Billing, Accounting determination, Inter‑company. Strong experience with Order management and Logistics Business Functions. Understanding of integration points with intercompany process, billing and revenue is desirable. One implementation project experience on Advanced ATP capabilities and one support experience are required. Exposure to SAP S4 HANA and Fiori applications is a plus. Experience working with business end users, gathering requirements, and building detailed functional design specifications. Ability to guide team members and mentor them as needed. Ability to work with minimum supervision or guidance. Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others. Ability to multi‑task and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Able to work independently and consider cross‑functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail.
