Animal Emergency Hospital in Burton, MI is looking for an experienced, confident Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated emergency team!

Starting Pay: $20

Shift Differential Offered: up to an extra $5 per hour!

What You'll Be Doing As an Experienced Veterinary Assistant in our ER, you will:

Confidently place IV catheters
Draw blood and assist with diagnostics
Provide hands-on care and monitoring for hospitalized and critical patients
Assist veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians during treatments and procedures
Support patient comfort, safety, and recovery in a fast-paced setting
Help maintain an efficient, organized treatment area

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 2 years as a Veterinary Assistant (emergency or specialty experience preferred)
Confidence in IV catheter placement and jugular blood draws
Strong patient handling and restraint skills
Ability to stay calm, focused, and compassionate in high-stress situations
Ability to participate in an overnight shift rotation
