TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Alexandria, Virginia, 22306!

Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy/GI Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 hours Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS, PALS (preferred) Must-Have: Strong IV skills Description: Our Endo nurses support Electroconvulsive therapy sessions. They use the Endoscopy navigator on an electronic medical record system. Nurses will be involved in preoperative, intraoperative, mainly timeout and documentation, and postoperative care. On-call service is required on weekends and holidays, with self-scheduling available. Nurses may need to take call during weekdays as needed. No floating is required. The position involves 25 outpatient and 25 inpatient cases. Nurses will assist in ECT cases three times a week, providing support during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Navy blue scrubs are required, including solid navy blue or solid white tops and jackets. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is required. Candidates should prepare for a floor orientation lasting one week.
