Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to patients in the Behavioral Health unit.
- Utilize the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as per established nursing protocols and policies.
- Document patient care in accordance with established standards.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized patient care plans.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives within the department or unit.
- Offer clinical expertise and support to other departments as needed.
- Apply critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and enhance the patient experience, escalating issues when necessary.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Current Wisconsin or Multi-state RN license.
- CPR and BLS certification are mandatory.
This position involves working night shifts in a dynamic psychiatric unit, where teamwork and communication are essential for providing effective patient care.
