Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Nurse (ER) position is located in Georgetown, Texas. This contract role involves working in a busy emergency department dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. The nurse will be responsible for managing acute cases, performing procedures, and collaborating with a cohesive team to ensure excellent patient outcomes during day shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Texas, 1 year of Emergency Department experience, certifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of Emergency Department experience, experience with ENPC versus PALS.
• Additional Information: The unit has 23 beds with a staff of approximately 40 members, including RNs, CNAs, Paramedics, and PCTs. Patient ratios are typically 4:1. The team utilizes Welch Allyn and GE Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. The department has received awards such as the ICARE Award in 2023 and is designated as a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IV Trauma Center. The team is dedicated, collaborative, and maintains a close-knit, community-focused environment. The dress code requires Navy Blue scrubs, and the unit emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
