Job Description Travel RN Stepdown Med Surg – Oklahoma City, OK Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Shift: 12‑hour nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN license Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS certification At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step‑down setting Other requirements as determined by the client facility Responsibilities Assess patient needs, signs, and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition and utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health‑care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses. Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions. Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education. Revise and document the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in the medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
