Our primary purpose is to serve as an observation unit, focusing on the care of orthopedic, renal, cardiac, and stroke patients, along with non-infectious Med/Surg patients. Job Summary This position serves to provide productive learning experiences for the new graduate nurse after the acquisition of the Arizona Registered Nurse. Essential Functions - Participates with other disciplines in the planning, implementation, evaluation and modification of nursing care and gives direct nursing care. - Performs nursing procedures following Tiered Nursing Orientation and competency checklists for which competency has been established and signed off.
