Senior Vice President, Sales Strategy: CompHealth Locum Tenens

CompHealth is seeking a Senior Sales Executive for its Locum Tenens division. The executive will own P&L performance, set sales strategy, build talent, and drive sustainable growth. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Direction: Own multi-year sales strategy that aligns cross‑functional priorities, translate market intelligence into actionable plans, and prioritize initiatives with highest impact. Executive Decision Making: Make tough calls based on client and competitor intelligence, allocate resources, set pricing and growth bets, and rally teams around a shared vision. Financial Oversight: Lead revenue, gross profit, and expense management; use financial data to diagnose trends and inform decisions. Sales Performance Management: Create pipeline discipline, monitor prospecting activity, conversion rates, and deal quality; identify gaps early and take corrective action. Stakeholder Management: Engage internal executives, clients, and key partners; spend time in the market to ensure value delivery and strengthen external relationships. Organization Capability Building: Recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber sales and leadership talent; design development programs that elevate selling capability. Continuous Improvement: Challenge status quo; drive improvements in sales processes, tools, and systems, and build organizational agility for changing markets. Qualifications 5+ years at VP level or above with responsibility for a $250M+ revenue stream. Direct management of 100+ people across multiple specialty or geographic teams. Proven track record of executing revenue‑growth and market‑share strategies. Deep understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, and high‑volume sales operations. Strong financial acumen, comfortable presenting P&L in boardroom settings and coaching on complex deals. Fluency with CRM platforms, analytics tools, and AI‑assisted forecasting. Experience leading through market shifts, organizational change, and competitive disruption while maintaining performance and morale. Industry thought leadership through speaking, published content, or recognized expertise in healthcare staffing or related professional services. Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field. Compensation & Benefits Base pay ranges from $47,500 to $550,000 annually, adjusted for location and experience.
