High-Volume Call Center Experience: 1–2+ years of experience handling heavy daily phone volume (100+ calls/day preferred). Industry Knowledge (Plus): Prior experience in merchant processing, bankcards, point-of-sale systems, or financial services is strongly preferred. Upsell Mindset: Comfort transitioning customer service conversations into revenue-generating sales opportunities. Tech-Savvy: Fast learner with CRM platforms, payment gateways, and multi-line phone systems. Communication & Stamina: Ability to maintain a clear, professional tone during back-to-back calls throughout an entire shift. salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year shift: First work hours: 9 AM - 6 PM education: High School Responsibilities Manage Call Volume: Handle 150+ inbound and outbound calls daily, resolving merchant questions efficiently while keeping average handle times low. Technical & Account Support: Assist business owners with POS equipment troubleshooting, payment gateway setups, monthly statement reviews, and fee inquiries. Generate Commission Income: Identify account upgrade opportunities—such as adding gift card programs, next-day funding, updated hardware, or new processing solutions—to earn uncapped commissions. Merchant Retention: Mitigate account cancellations by resolving high-friction issues, explaining complex billing structures clearly, and offering competitive account adjustments. Data Logging: Accurately document every customer interaction and update record statuses within the CRM in real time.
